John Cox, Director of Faith Formation
Dear St. Francis Parish,
It is with much heartfelt sadness that I will be leaving St. Francis of Assisi Church at the end of this month, and taking on a new position as Director of Catechesis at St. Thomas More, in Centennial, on January 1st. Long story short, Msgr. Fryar sought me out to help rebuild his catechetical department, and so, with much prayer and conviction, I have decided to take the position.
With construction occurring this spring, my schedule has decreased and consequently, making this a good time for the transition. It is because of all of you, in your generosity of volunteering, that I feel confident that the ministries that have been developed over these past few years will continue to grow and flourish. As of the moment, we are looking for someone to replace me, but no leads, so please pray for the staff here as they will be taking on some new responsibilities until a replacement is found.
Even though I am transitioning to St. Thomas More, I will always consider St. Francis Parish to be my home. When we first moved here, we were welcomed with much prayer and warm hospitality, to which we will always be indebted to all of you. Please keep us in your prayers, as we are praying for all of you.
Save the Date
